Tuition does not cover transportation, housing, or meals. Housing information will be provided. Each student is responsible for obtaining transportation to the sessions and to his/her assigned internship. Each student must attend all ten days and all classes/activities within those ten days.

The following organizations offer tuition scholarships to the Institute. Please contact these institutions for information and application deadlines, which may be different from the application deadline for the Institute.
- The Society of Georgia Archivists, www.soga.org, awards the Carroll Hart Scholarship.
- The Friends of Georgia Archives and History, www.fogah.org, offers the Sarah O. Dunaway Scholarship.
Individuals must apply separately to the Georgia Archives Institute and to the scholarship organizations. Do not send scholarship applications to the Georgia Archives Institute.
